Construction Updates: June 20, 2024
Please be advised of upcoming and ongoing construction:
Wayne/Glenwood/Hollywood/Bryn Mawr Alley Update
The North, East-West Leg of the alley is complete. The alley pavement is being replaced in three phases to reduce the impact of restricted access for the residents. Please see the map and a tentative schedule for the remaining phases below. Only one leg will be under construction at a time. Garages will be accessible for the other two legs during each phase. Please continue placing garbage cans at the front of the property until all the concrete work is complete.
South, East-West Leg: 6/10/24 – 6/24/24
North-South Leg: 6/24/24 – 7/22/24
Argyle Resurfacing
The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has begun work restoring the streetscape, primarily alongside Kenmore and Winthrop. Resurfacing is set to continue this week and next (weather permitting). Thank you to residents that have called and inquired about this part of the ward and to CDOT for your work to improve this roadway.
