Volunteer with the 48th Ward

There are many opportunities to volunteer with Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth’s 48th ward office. Use the form below to let us know about your interests.

You may also be interested in joining any of these volunteer groups with the 48th ward office:

  • Bryn Mawr Alliance —community members and professionals who develop strategies and recommendations for revitalization of the Bryn Mawr Historic District.

  • Green Council — neighbors who support sustainability work in our community, help educate our neighbors on environmental issues/initiatives, and discuss local policy.

  • Youth Advisory Council — young people (ages 14-22) who come together to address topics like health and safety, environmental justice, participatory budgeting, education, transportation, and more!

  • Zoning Advisory Council (ZAC) — 48th ward residents who provide feedback to the Alderwoman on proposed development projects, zoning change requests, and relevant community engagement. Note: applications are open at the end of each calendar year.
