Please be advised of the following upcoming and ongoing construction in the ward:
Current Sidewalk Improvement Projects
Please be advised of sidewalks improvements ataking place near the following addresses:
5649 N Magnolia Ave
5353 N Kenmore Ave
1019 W Balmoral Ave
5244 N Wayne Ave
Due to recent weather, some of these projects may have started earlier than expected. Others may be slightly delayed. We appreciate your patience as CDOT works diligently to make these improvements.
Green Alley Bounded by Wayne, Glenwood, Hollywood, and Bryn Mawr
We're in the home stretch of the alley project bounded by Wayne, Glenwood, Hollywood, and Bryn Mawr! Both east-west legs of the alley have been completed, and the north-south leg of the project is expected to be completed on August 5. See a progress picture above. Other Recurring and Ongoing Construction
Resurfacing on Hollywood has begun!
Resurfacing on Kenmore has been delayed due to rain. We will share an updated work schedule when we receive it.
Residential lighting improvement work is still underway on Berwyn between Clark and Glenwood.
Later this year, construction will begin on the alley bounded by Victoria, Edgewater, Clark, and Ridge. Neighbors will receive an additional notice approximately one week before work begins.
