Both east-west legs of the alley have been completed. The north-south leg of the project is expected to be completed on August 5. See a progress picture above. Read more and see a project map here

Upcoming Alley Construction

Later this year, construction will begin on the alley bounded by Victoria, Edgewater, Clark, and Ridge. Neighbors will receive an additional notice approximately one week before work begins.

During construction:

  • Residential garbage will be curbside. Homeowners are asked to relocate cans to the front of the property.

  • There will be no alley access for approximately six weeks (depending on weather conditions).

  • Barricades will block all entrance to the alley. Residents are advised to seek alternative parking.

This project will be managed by the CDOT. For more information, please contact 312-722-6590.

Kenmore Resurfacing - Weather Delays

The Kenmore resurfacing projects continues to be delayed due to recent inclement weather. Our office is communicating with CDOT to get an updated timeline. In the meantime, please be on the lookout for no parking signs that may be posted soon. Thank you for your continued patience as we complete these improvements.
