Congratulations to local cafe Sip & Savor located right here on Bryn Mawr for being named oner Choose Chicago's 10 Black-owned coffee shops to visit during Black History Month. The 48th ward celebrates our local Black-owned businesses this month and beyond! Use this form to nominate your favorite local spot to be featured in this month's Small Business Spotlight.

CELEBRATE WITH CPS, CPL, and CPD

Chicago Public Schools, the Chicago Public Library, and the Chicago Park District have all compiled materials and resources for celebrating Black History Month. Whether you attend a celebration at one of Chicago's parks, check out a CPL event or recommended book, or read about notable Black CPS alumni on their site, there are plenty of ways to get involved for free this month!
