Zoning Feedback Opportunity: 5259 N Clark

Devil Dawgs and Heisler Hospitality (the group responsible for Pizza Lobo, Queen Mary Tavern, and other popular establishments) are requesting a zoning change from B1-2 to B3-2 at 5259 N Clark (at Clark and Berwyn).

The proposed plan is for Devil Dawgs to operate in the front of the location and Heisler Hospitality to operate in the rear under the name "Demijohn." Both businesses will provide food and Demijohn will also serve liquor. The businesses will share a sidewalk cafe along Berwyn Avenue. This joint venture is seeking a food license, Consumption on Premises-Incidental Activity Liquor license, and a Sidewalk Cafe Permit. No exterior work is being conducted and current tenants in the building will be unaffected.
