PB Community Meeting on Feb 29 at CMAA

Our very first Participatory Budgeting (PB) community meeting is just around the corner!

  • When: Thursday, February 29 from 5:30-7pm

  • Where: Chinese Mututal Aid Association (1016 W Argyle)

  • Contact jorgeivan@the48thward.org with questions.

Join us to learn more about the 48th ward participatory budgeting process and share your ideas for how we should spend a $1 million infrastructure budget!

We want to hear your ideas for menu repairs (fixing sidewalks, resurfacing streets, curb & gutter repairs, green alleys etc) and special projects (bump outs, adding exercise equipment in parks, murals, lighting projects, etc).

If you can't make the meeting or want to share your ideas right away, you can use the forms on our website.

We look forward to working together with all of you to ensure that our infrastructure budget is being spent where it is needed most.

Can't make this meeting? No worries! We will be holding another community meeting at the Edgewater Presbyterian Church on March 6! RSVP here for either meeting.
