Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration (September 15 - October 15) of Hispanic and Latine history and culture. Join us as we recognize and celebrate the many contributions to the history and culture of the United States and the world by exploring the diverse art, film, music, dance, poetry (and more) of our Hispanic and Latine neighbors.

Pictured above are three 48th ward team members holding flags representing their heritage. From left to right: Angel Rubi Navarijo, Director of Neighborhood Services, holds the Guatemalan flag, Jorge Iván Soto, Director of Development, holds the Mexican flag, and Genesis Morro, Legislative Aid, holds the Bolivian flag.
