As of August 8, 2025, Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital (4646 N marine) has officially closed its doors.
Resilience Health made the decision to close the facility after the Centers for Medicare & medicaid Services (CMS) removed Weiss from the Medicare program. CMS citedserious concerns after multiple site visits and inspections. These issues were exacerbated by the hospital’s air conditioning failure earlier this summer.
