View the Office of Budget Management’s Workforce Vacancy Data Dashboard. This is first time that vacancy data for all city departments has been made publicly available.
The Workforce Vacancy Data Dashboard:
Provides point-in-time insight into the number of vacant positions across all City departments, refreshed on the first day of each month.
Ensures transparency by making the underlying data available to city stakeholders, elected officials, decision makers and the public on the city’s Open Data Portal.
Enhances workforce planning efforts by allowing Members of City Council to track and review vacancy trends over time.

The Department of Housing has published an interactive map titled "ARO Rental Buildings" which shows rental properties with Affordable Requirements Ordinance (ARO) units across the city. Each data point on the map represents a specific property. Clicking on each point reveals the property’s address, contact information, and ARO unit details (i.e. unit type and area median income levels). Each year, the Aldermanic Menu Program allocates $1.5 million for each ward for permanent infrastructure projects and repairs.
The Office of Budget Management (OBM) keeps year-by-year records of aldermanic menu spending on this webpage. These records indicate the projects that each alder funded through menu each year.
