Bringing Neighborhood Services to You!

Since May, the 48th Ward team has tabled at more than 30 community events across the ward — bringing city resources and information directly to residents!

From the Edgewater Farmers Market, Argyle Night Markets, and Midsommar Fest to multiple Back-to-School Bashes, Pride events, and the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, our team has been out in the community all summer long. At these events, we’ve helped neighbors with property tax appeals, city service requests, job resources, and senior programming, while sharing information on public safety, environmental sustainability, and upcoming community meetings.

A big thank-you to our dedicated staff and volunteers for their incredible effort and community spirit. Over the past few years, more than 200 volunteers have signed up to help make these efforts possible.
