Toy Drive Goals Exceeded

Last month, over 440 Christmas gifts were donated and distributed to children in the 48th ward, exceeding all goals and expectations! Mary, Mother of God Parish collected and distributed 340 Christmas gifts in partnership with Centro Romero, local shelters, and other churches. Read more about the efforts here.

Care for Friends and the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce collected and distributed 100 Christmas gifts.

Families staying at the Broadway Armory shelter were welcomed at Christmas Eve mass at St. Ita Parish and at a Christmas Day event at Care for Friends.

Thank you to everyone involved in these efforts to make the first Christmas in Chicago special for our new neighbors.
