Dear Neighbors,

I am pleased to inform you that reconstruction of the four intersections higlighted in the map below will begin on Monday, June 8, 2026. Construction is expected to take twelve (12) weeks, weather permitting. It will be constructed in phases. A detour will be set up as the intersections will need to be closed for reconstruction. See the tentative schedules of the phases below.

PHASE 1 (5 weeks)

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Thorndale Ave

  • Intersection will be closed for raised intersection installation

  • Sewer work, ADA corner/curb and gutter improvements

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Rosedale Ave

  • Intersection will remain open

  • Curb and gutter, ADA and sidewalk improvements

  • Installation of detached bumpouts

  • Sewer work

Intersection of N. Greenview Ave. and W. Thorndale Ave

  • Intersection will remain open

  • Sewer work


PHASE 2 (2 weeks)

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Thorndale Ave

  • Will be opened

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Ardmore Ave

  • Intersection will be closed for installation of a raised intersection

  • ADA corner and curb and gutter improvements

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Rosedale Ave

  • Intersection will remain open

  • Curb and gutter, ADA, and sidewalk improvements

  • Sewer work

Intersection of N. Greenview Ave. & W. Thorndale Ave

  • East leg of the intersection will be closed for installation of a raised crosswalk

  • North and west leg of the intersection will remain open


PHASE 3 (2-3 weeks)

Intersection of N. Glenwood Ave. & W. Ardmore Ave

  • Intersection will remain closed for installation of a raised intersection

  • ADA corner and curb and gutter improvements

Intersection of N. Greenview Ave. & W. Thorndale Ave

  • East leg will be opened


PHASE 4 (1-2 weeks)

  • All intersections will be opened

  • Asphalt placement

  • Pavement Markings

  • Sign installation


During construction, temporary “No Parking” signs will be installed as required. These temporary signs will restrict parking during working hours, while adhering to rush hour restrictions.
