We’re partnering with Commissioner Gainer’s office on a Meal Kit donation Drive. See thge list of accpeted donations below. These items can all be found at Dollar Tree; preference of rshelf stable items that do not require additional ingredients like milk or eggs. Please shop entire recipes when possible to ensure that we can package and distribute entire meal kits. Pre-packaged desserts will also be accepted. Drop off donations at our office (1129 W Bryn Mawr) by December 8.

RECIPES

Thanksgiving Casserole

  • 2 cans of turkey

  • 1 box of turkey stuffing

  • 1 packet of turkey gravy

  • 1 packet of instant mashed potatoes

  • 1 can of seasoned green beans

Chili

  • 1 can of black beans

  • 1 can of kidney beans

  • 1 can of pinto beans

  • 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chiles

  • 1 packet of chili seasoning

  • 1 box of cornbread mix

Chicken & Dumplings

  • 1 box of garlic and herb biscuit mix

  • 2 cans of chicken

  • 1 can of green peas

  • 1 can of sliced carrots

  • 1 can of diced potatoes

  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup

  • 1 can of evaporated milk

  • chicken bouillon cubes
