Leni recently joined neighbors and supporters at the Selfhelp Home Annual Gala. Selfhelp Home was founded in 1938 in the shadow of the Holocaust as a mutual aid society where refugees and survivors could find community and rebuild their lives. Today, it stands as a living, breathing testament to the human spirit, as a thriving boutique Jewish community for older adults. The Selfhelp Home is a treasure in the 48th Ward!
