CHICAGO — Chicago Public Library, Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth proudly celebrate Filipino Heritage Month by welcoming some of Chicago’s most influential Filipino chefs to the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium at Harold Washington Library. Attendees can learn about the Filipino culinary scene in Chicago from renowned chefs such as Joe Fontelera of Boonies, Martin Tan of Cebu, and Melvin Reyes of Mano Modern Cafe.
