On Thursday, November 14, our office held our first in-person community engagement meeting for Participatory Budgeting 2025 with the Edgewater Beach Neighborhood Association (EBNA) and the Edison Tenants Association (ETA). We discussed infrastructure issues in the ward and brainstormed potential solutions. Discussion topics included:

  • pedestrian safety

  • flooding

  • using infrastructure to improve public safety.

We will continue to bring PB to the people this coming year, collaborating with community organizations to host engagement meetings. We look forward to presenting innovative infrastructure projects for our community to vote on in 2025.
