Neighbors, please be aware of multiple resurfacing projects in the ward including:

  • Alley running north/south near 4920 N Marine Drive, from Ainslie to W Margate Terrace.

  • Alley between the intersections of Wayne, Bryn Mawr, Hollywood, Glenwood.

  • Alley running east/west behind Gethsemane Garden Center, intersections of Ardmore, Victoria, Clark, & Ridge.

  • Alley running north/south between the intersections of Granville, Glenlake, Sheridan & Kenmore.

Additionally, CDOT is continuing to provide improvements to our pedestrian infrastructure. Starting next week, there will be upgraded crosswalks on the side streets of Broadway, from Foster to Devon. We'd like to thank the CDOT team for their continued work to make the 48th ward a safer neighborhood for all.

Finally, Fiber Optic installations are continuing throughout the ward. There is currently continued work being done alongside Glenwood near Thome, Thorndale, and along Catalpa.
