Apply for the 2025 Zoning Advisory Council

Are you interested in advising Alderwoman Manaa-Hoppenworth on zoning changes and prospective developments? Do you share our vision for accessible, affordable, and environmentally sustainable development? Our office is looking for neighbors who live in the ward and who are interested in these topics to join our Zoning Advisory Council (ZAC).

You do not need to be an expert on zoning or development to apply; our office will provide an orientation in partnership with he Department of Planning and Development. ZAC members serve one year terms and commit 2-5 hours a month.

We encourage everyone, regardless of background, education, or lived experience, to apply. Applications will be open here until December 15 at 11:59pm.
