The 48th ward office is looking for young people ages 14-22 to volunteer for our Youth Advisory Council.

The council will meet once a month and will be split into committees to address topics like health & safety, environmental justice, participatory budgeting, education, transportation, and more! We’ll also select a council team leader who will spend 1-2 hours a week organizing events and brainstorming next steps. 

Applicants must be students or residents in the 48th ward between the ages of 14-22. No previous experience is required. Learn more about the council and eligibility requirements here.

Apply through the request form on our website. Attach your resume and write “Youth Advisory Council” in the description. You’ll hear back from our office soon regarding next steps. This is a volunteer position with no compensation. Please email angel@the48thward.org with any further questions.
