For the first time ever, 48th ward neighbors have the opportunity to decide how we spend up to $1 million in public infrastructure funds! Throughout the year, community members like you have shared project ideas and feedback, and now, it's time to vote! Read on for information about voting online, voting in-person, and how to start planning for participatory budgeting 2025.

PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING 2024 - VIRTUAL INFO SESSION

We held an info session on Wednesday, September 18 to discuss the 48th ward participatory budgeting process and to go over the projects on this year's ballot! Review a recording of the presentation here.

VOTE ONLINE!

From pedestrian safety, to Senn Sport Space Improvements, to lakefront benches and beyond, there's lots of great projects on this year's PB ballot! To cast your vote for your favorite projects, see our online ballot here

See mutlitple projects you want us to fund? You don't have to vote for just one! We're using Ranked Choice Voting (RCV), meaning you can rank multiple projects based on your preferences and priorities. The 48th Ward team will then eliminate the lowest preferred project, and continue to do so until the final projects add up to $1 million.
