Construction Updates: June 5, 2024

Please be advised of upcoming and ongoing construction:

Resurfacing is underway on DuSable Lake Shore Drive

Reminder that both north & south-bound lanes of DSLD are currently being resurfaced.

North-bound resurfacing is underway from Lawrence-Hollywood. South-bound resurfacing is underway from Hollywood-Lawrence and Irving Park-LaSalle.

South-bound: W. Hollywood to W. Lawrence AND W. Irving Park to W. LaSalle

Work is expected to conclude late June 2024. There will be a combination of day and nighttime closures. Day time multi-lane closures will be in effect as early as 9am and as late as 4pm. Nighttime multi-lane closures will be in effect from 6pm to 6am. Outside of those hours, a single lane closure may remain in place for staging.

Street Resurfacing:

Street resurfacing is scheduled to begin this week on Kenmore between Ainslie and Foster. The project is expected to wrap up at the end of June.
